Camping FAQs
Can I bring my dog?
Unfortunately, although we love dogs, we strictly do not allow dogs on-site at Redbanks or for any of our events. We ask everyone to leave their furry friends at home.
Are there any facilities available?
Yep!
Showers and toilets are available only a couple of minutes walk from the campgrounds.
Are there powered sites available?
No, there are no powered sites at Redbanks. Please make sure you bring everything you need to be self-sufficient.
Will there be food available
Food trucks will be open on Saturday for breakfast and lunch, and then again on Sunday morning for breakfast.
It is likely that there will be no food trucks serving dinner on Friday or Saturday night, so make sure to bring your own food for dinner.
Will there be prizes?
What’s a good race without a prize?
The 1/2/3rd placings in our elite male + female waves will take home trophies and prizes. To be announced.
Can I receive a refund if I can’t attend?
Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds for purchased tickets less than 30 days prior to the event. However you are more than welcome to sell your tickets onwards, no need to change the names on your tickets.
Are campfires allowed?
We do not allow campfires; however, we do allow above-ground firepits, provided they do not damage the ground beneath.
Does my camping pass cover both nights?
Yes!
Your camping pass grants you entry for both Friday (28th) and Saturday (29th) night.
You’re welcome to come for both nights, or pick one. It’s up to you.
When can I arrive/when do we have to leave?
Arrive anytime Friday afternoon (no earlier than midday), and we ask everyone to vacate by midday on Sunday.
Are there shops/cafes/restaurants nearby?
The closest shops/cafes/restaurants are in Sorell, which is a 25-minute drive from the event site/campground. We recommend coming fully prepared with everything you need.
Where are the campgrounds?
The Campgrounds are in a paddock right next to Redbanks, only a minute’s walk from the main event arena.
Do I need to bring water?
Yes, although we will have food trucks open periodically, we recommend to bring all of your own food and water.
